Skate is similar to stingrays except without the stinger on their tail. They are rich in protein, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids which improves energy levels as well as your dog's skin and coat health. The cartilage in their wings are a good source of glucosamine and chondroitin which lends support to healthy joints. Skate wings do not contain bones, creating a safe, low-fat chew for puppies and seniors as well.
